Keeping Our Events Safe

You may have noticed a few shifts we've made around staff and community safety at the Church Council: we've removed staff contact information from our website, we connect our network to trainings through WAISN and other trusted organizations, and we talk about safety planning at events.

One of the ways we keep us safe is by knowing who is registered for events, particularly for events that center migrants and other impacted community members. We need your support in ensuring that you register for an event before attending, and that includes registering any family and friends you bring. We will start being more strict about turning people away at the door, so don't miss out by forgetting to register! Additionally, our registration link requires you to confirm your registration on a separate page before submitting - please watch for the bright red text that says:

This is not the final confirmation page.

You must push the "REGISTER" button in order to complete your registration.

Push the Register button to confirm your registration, and look for the confirmation email. If you do not complete your registration, we will not know that you attempted to register. Please feel free to reach out if you think you registered but did not receive a confirmation email. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe!
