Faith Land Summer Camp

This summer, we hosted a 3-day Faith Land Summer Camp for faith communities who have participated in past cohorts. Each faith community was able to bring up to 5 participants to allow for new members of their discernment teams to learn and deepen the skills we teach through the cohort. The summer camp included 9 faith communities and 16 participants out of the 19 that have participated in a past cohort.

The first night, Joey grounded us in the anti-racism and community organizing principles that are integral to the Faith Land Discernment Cohort, as well as each area of our work at the Church Council. Saturday was a deep dive into many of the tools we use to support faith communities along their journeys. We ended the weekend with presentations from each faith community about their progress, as well as creating new accompaniment pods so communities working on similar projects may support one another into the future. We sent Joey off with cake and many thanks!!
