Ballots drop this week - make sure yours counts!

As ballots drop this week, multifaith organizations encourage you to be a first week voter, use ballot drop boxes, and track your ballot! Over the past two years, Church Council of Greater Seattle, Faith Action Network, and Jewish Coalition for Immigrant Justice have invited you to opportunities to show up in solidarity with our migrant neighbors amidst the rise of federal attacks. This fall, making sure your vote counts is a vital way to protect our communities and our democracy.

We also encourage you to Vote NO on all three initiatives!

Vote NO on I-645

  • Cuts funding for K-12 schools, health care, and child care.

  • Increases taxes on working families and small businesses.

  • Would give the top one percent a tax cut, while the rest of us pay more.

Vote NO on I-001 & I-638

I-001:
📌Removes protections for child abuse victims and forces outing of LGBTQ+ youth to dangerous families.
📌Weakens parents’ rights to know that their child has been the victim of a crime, delaying help.

I-638:

📌Will subject more than 100,000 girls to government-mandated invasive, medically unnecessary genital inspections just to play sports.
📌Cruelly singles out trans girls for exclusion based on misinformation and fear.
