Welcome Demontrice Bigham!

We are thrilled to announce our new Community Organizer, Rev. Demontrice Bigham! Demontrice will be supporting our Faith Land Initiative, Seattle City Budget Organizing, and emerging organizing priorities.

Demontrice Bigham (he, him) is the founder of the Alain Locke Initiative, a mentorship program empowering young queer Black men in the Greater Seattle area. A member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the Royal House of LaBeija, and a nonprofit professional with over 10 years of experience in human services and housing. Demontrice has worked with organizations such as POCAAN, DESC, and Community Roots Housing. He brings a passion for faith-rooted community organizing, mentorship, and building bridges across diverse communities to advance justice and collective liberation. He lives in Seattle with his husband; they have two young daughters.
