CROP Hunger Walks are a movement to end hunger around the world, especially in vulnerable communities who must journey for basic resources. As an initiative of Church World Service (CWS is a refugee resettlement and international development organization), these walks link thousands of communities across the Nation in their response, raising over $9 million annually to extend the reach of food security for both our local and global neighbors.
For the Seattle CROP Hunger Walk, 25% of funds raised will benefit the local work of City Fruit, Mary’s Place, North Helpline, Rainier Valley Food Bank, West Seattle Food Bank, and White Center Food Bank; 75% of funds will bring sustainable food sources to global communities through the work of CWS, Islamic Relief and MAZON.
All are welcome!
