Interfaith Advocacy Day is on Thursday, March 17th, 2011, from 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Olympia.

Participate in an interfaith worship; hear briefings on the legislative session and the state budget; and have an opportunity to meet your legislators and voice your concerns.

Registration is $20 before March 10th and $25 after March 10th, and includes an advocacy packet, continental breakfast, and lunch.

Go green. Ride the bus!  There will be a bus pickup location in Mountlake Terrace and in Seattle.  Please indicate on registration that you would like to take the bus.

Schedule:

The day begins at United Churches of Olympia, 110 11th Ave. SE, with an interfaith worship, an overview of the day, a plenary session overview of the legislative session/bills, and a plenary session on the budget.

We then walk over to the Capitol Campus for lunch, speakers, and breakout sessions on the issues.

Throughout the day, people will have the opportunity to meet with their legislators or their staff.  These appointments will be made on your behalf if indicated in registration and will be made according to district (you may be with several other people from your district).
