Singalong Messiah

The conductor is Rev. Eric Odel, founder and director of Spirit of the Sound Choir. Soloists are Glenn Guhr (bass), Ellaina Lewis (Soprano), Erin McGaughan (alto) and Jonakan Osteen (tenor). All singers are invited, and non-singers (listeners) too. Bring your own score; some scores available for rent.
General admission is $20; children 12 and under are free. Proceeds benefit New Horizons Ministies. Tickets may be purchased at Brown Paper Tickets.
Neighborhood Carol Sing

Come for the annual informal Christmas Carol sing with Mel Butler at the piano and Flentrop organ. Join any time and stay as long as you can!
A Celtic Christmas Concert Featuring Harps and Bells

Broadview Community United Church of Christ, 125th and Phinney, Seattle 98133
Suggested donation $10 adults, $5 youth/seniors, $25 family (but no one turned away).
All proceeds benefit the following: The Emergency Feeding Program, The Sharehouse, Mary's Place, Teen Feed, Faith Trust Institute, and the International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission.
A champagne and cookies reception will follow the concert. A non-alcoholic beverage will be provided as well.

The Seattle First Baptist Sanctuary Choir, Bell Ensemble, orchestra, organ and Children and Youth Choir bring the message of hope and peace at Christmas.
No tickets are necessary; a free-will offering will be taken. Childcare is available for Sunday only. Limited free parking is in the lot behind the church.

Patterned after the Christmas Eve observance at King's College in Cambridge, England, A Festival of Lessons & Carols has become a holiday tradition for thousands of families in the greater Seattle area. This classical performance consists of nine holiday readings, each followed by a traditional carol performed by the choir, and another carol sung by the choir and audience.

42nd Annual Handel's Messiah Sing-and-Play-Along
Monday, December 26th at 7 p.m. at University Unitarian Church, 6556 35th Ave. NE., Seattle
University Unitarian invites you to their 42nd Annual Handel's Messiah Sing-and-Play-Along. Messiah Sing-and-Play-Alongs have had some exciting moments--from an enormous round of applause for a particular trumpet player who tackled a solo with aplomb, to auction winners who have the privilege of conducting the enormous group for one movement!
This spectacular event is masterfully conducted by Karen P. Thomas, Artistic Director and Conductor of Seattle Pro Musica and Director of Music at University Unitarian Church.
The doors open at 6 p.m. Advance ticket purchase and early arrival is advised as this popular event draws a sold-out crowd every year. Refreshments will be available at the two intermissions.
All singers and instrumentalists are invited to participate. Sing the entire oratorio, all choruses and solos! Bring a vocal score if you have one (preferred edition is Watkins Shaw published by Novello). Vocal scores and orchestra parts will be available for loan at the event. Vocal scores will also be available for purchase. Instrumentalists should bring their own music stands.
Regular admission is $15, students are $10 and seniors (65+) are $12. Tickets can be ordered from Brown Paper Tickets or by calling their 24-hour hotline at 800.838.3006. Brown Paper Tickets charges a small service fee to process orders. All proceeds benefit music and other programs at University Unitarian.
